How to Figure the Cubic Feet of a Straight Wall

104 11
    • 1). Use the measuring tape to measure the height, width (or depth) and length of the wall. Write these measurements down.

    • 2). Convert the wall measurements into one common unit of measurement, preferably feet rather than inches. For example, if the wall is 5 feet 6 inches tall, write the measurement down as 5.5 feet.

    • 3). Multiply the height measurement by the width measurement, and then multiply the product of these two numbers by the length measurement. This will yield the volume of the wall in cubic feet.
